JBS was established in 2000 with these expectations in mind as a Commercial, Residential and Industrial General Contracting, Consulting and Project Management Firm. JBS is currently headquartered in Central, Louisiana and provides its services primarily in the Central and Greater Baton Rouge and metropolitan areas. A successful construction project is achieved by investing in experienced professionals from the design team, owner's vendors, field superintendent and subcontractors and suppliers. It is these people that share in the decision making process of a construction project, and make it a successful one.

JBS believes in being fully present and accountable for every process of a construction project. The first day of conceptual design discussions is the beginning of a future successful mission, and the ability to choose wisely and correctly is fundamental to our project's success. All decisions that are made must have a clear and attainable goal towards the overall project.

Additionally, we believe in utilizing a team approach for all phases of a construction project. We feel this team approach with pre-construction planning, the construction phase and post-construction allow our clients to effectively manage their construction dollars. This philosophy of a team-oriented management approach provides timely budget and scheduling reviews and allows us to initiate communications with subcontractors to assist with budget review, availability of manpower and procurement of long-lead materials and equipment. Now our clients can accurately make assessments to their respective capital budgets prior to the completion of contract documents as well as make timely cost evaluations during the construction phase.
